Detailed description

The ice depot functions as a fully integrated ice production and sales system. The water entering the unit undergoes a multi-stage purification process before reaching the ice machine. The ice-forming chamber produces uniform ice cubes measuring 22 x 22 x 22 millimetres, which are transferred to an insulated storage bin. An internal auger system transports the ice from storage to the dispensing mechanism when required.

When a customer makes a purchase, the payment system validates the currency and sends a signal to the control circuit board to start dispensing. For orders of bagged ice, the machine automatically positions an empty bag, fills it to the programmed weight, and heat-seals the bag before delivering it to the customer. Loose ice cubes are dispensed directly into the customer's container via a separate chute.

The housing has a front door that provides access to the internal components for maintenance. A waterproof, powder-coated steel exterior protects the internal mechanisms from the weather when the machine is placed outdoors. The operating system continuously monitors the ice level, water supply, bag inventory and payment processing to ensure operational status.
