Scope and applicable law<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          This payment policy applies to all agreements that you conclude with EU Containers via our website, by email, by telephone or via other means of communication, insofar as we sell and deliver shipping containers within the Netherlands and Belgium.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Depending on the location of your establishment or residential address, the law of\n          <strong>Netherlands<\/strong> (Civil Code, CC) or <strong>Belgium<\/strong>\n          (Code of Economic Law, WER) shall apply, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions under European regulations. In the event of any discrepancies between this guideline and mandatory statutory provisions, the statutory rules shall prevail.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 2 Betaalmethoden -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">2. Available payment methods<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          EU Containers currently offers the following payment methods:\n        <\/p>\n        <ul class=\"payment-card__list\">\n          <li><strong>Bank transfer (advance payment \/ invoice)<\/strong><\/li>\n          <li><strong>Credit card payments<\/strong> (currently <u>not available<\/u>)<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 3 Bankoverschrijving -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">3. Bank transfer (prepayment \/ invoice)<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          The preferred method and currently the main payment option offered is bank transfer. Depending on the agreement and any credit assessment, payment can be arranged as follows:\n        <\/p>\n        <ul class=\"payment-card__list\">\n          <li>Advance payment prior to delivery (payment before dispatch of the container), or<\/li>\n          <li>Payment on invoice with a clearly stated due date.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          The specific payment terms (e.g. due date, deposit, payment in instalments) are clearly stated in our quotation, order confirmation and\/or on the invoice.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          You will receive our bank details (IBAN, BIC, account holder, bank name) with the pro-forma invoice, order confirmation or invoice. Bank transfers must be made in the currency specified therein and to the indicated account. Any bank charges, foreign fees or conversion costs shall be borne by you, unless otherwise agreed.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 4 Creditcard (niet beschikbaar) -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">4. Credit card payments (currently unavailable)<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Credit card payments (e.g., Visa, Mastercard or similar providers) are currently\n          <strong>no<\/strong> offered as a payment method.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Should EU Containers introduce credit card payments in the future, we will:\n        <\/p>\n        <ul class=\"payment-card__list\">\n          <li>clearly and transparently display the accepted card brands,<\/li>\n          <li>to mention the payment service provider,<\/li>\n          <li>explain the timing of the debit (e.g. direct debit or reservation),<\/li>\n          <li>and explain any extra security procedures (e.g. 3D Secure \/ strong customer authentication) in detail according to the PSD2 requirements.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Pending an explicit update to this payment policy, credit card payments are not accepted as a permitted payment method.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 5 Totstandkoming overeenkomst & betalingsverplichting -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">5. Formation of the agreement and payment obligation<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          A binding purchase agreement for one or more shipping containers is concluded in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions. Upon conclusion of the agreement, you undertake to pay the agreed purchase price, including any delivery and additional costs, in a timely manner.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          The concrete payment terms and conditions (e.g. \u201cpayable within 7 days of invoice date\u201d or \u201cpayable in full prior to delivery\u201d) are stated in the order confirmation, quotation and\/or the invoice. In case of doubt, the due date on the invoice shall apply.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 6 Betalingstermijnen en verzuim -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">6. Payment terms and payment default<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          For the assessment of timely payment, the date on which the amount is credited to our designated bank account is decisive. Simply executing the transfer on the due date is insufficient if the amount is credited later.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          If payment is not made within the specified period, you may be in default.\nIn that case, EU Containers is entitled to:\n        <\/p>\n        <ul class=\"payment-card__list\">\n          <li>to charge statutory interest (in accordance with the Dutch Civil Code for the Netherlands and the Code of Economic Law for Belgium), and<\/li>\n          <li>to claim reasonable reminder fees and any further damages.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          In addition, we reserve the right to suspend further performance (in particular the delivery of additional containers), adjust delivery times or refuse new orders until all due amounts have been paid in full.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 7 Vooruitbetaling en opschortingsrecht -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">7. Prepayment and right of suspension<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          For certain orders, particularly:\n        <\/p>\n        <ul class=\"payment-card__list\">\n          <li>high order values,<\/li>\n          <li>customisation, modifications or special equipment,<\/li>\n          <li>deliveries outside the Netherlands or Belgium, or<\/li>\n          <li>an increased risk of default,<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          can EU Containers require a (partial) advance payment. This will be explicitly stated in the quotation and\/or order confirmation.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          If an agreed prepayment is not paid within the set period, we are entitled to suspend delivery until receipt of the payment, to adjust delivery times, or \u2013 after the expiry of a reasonable period without effect \u2013 to withdraw from the agreement. Statutory rights of rescission or termination remain unaffected.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 8 Veiligheid en fraudepreventie -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">8. Security, fraud prevention and legal obligations<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          EU Containers reserves the right to carry out internal checks and risk assessments to prevent fraud, money laundering and other abuse. In this context, we may:\n        <\/p>\n        <ul class=\"payment-card__list\">\n          <li>requesting additional information (e.g. identity documents, company details),<\/li>\n          <li>limit available payment methods for specific orders or customers, or<\/li>\n          <li>refusing orders if there are concrete indications of abuse or legal violations.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          These measures serve to protect our customers and our company and are implemented with due regard for applicable privacy and consumer rights.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 9 Prijzen, belastingen en bijkomende kosten -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">9. Pricing, taxes and additional costs<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          All prices are stated in the currency indicated on our website. Whether the prices include statutory VAT or are excluding VAT is clearly stated in the respective display, in the quotation and on the invoice.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Any delivery, handling or additional costs (e.g. crane offloading, special deliveries) will be stated transparently before placing a binding order. Before finalising your order, you will receive a complete overview of all price components, taxes and shipping costs, in accordance with Dutch and Belgian consumer protection rules.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 10 Eigendomsvoorbehoud -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">10. Retention of title and delivery<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Until the full purchase price plus all ancillary claims (e.g., delivery and additional costs) have been paid, the delivered container remains the property of EU Containers (retention of title).\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Unless otherwise individually agreed, EU Containers is not obliged to release or deliver the container prior to full payment.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 11 Terugbetalingen en storneringen -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">11. Refunds and chargebacks<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Insofar as a refund is legally provided for (e.g. in the event of a valid cancellation, a justified complaint or another legal obligation) or is granted by EU Containers as a gesture of goodwill, the refund will in principle be made via the same payment method you originally used, unless otherwise agreed.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          For bank transfers, it may be necessary for you to provide us with your current bank details in order to process the refund.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          If a reversal or chargeback occurs without a legal basis (e.g. an unjustified recall of a transfer while the service has been properly performed), we reserve the right to recover the outstanding amount plus any costs and damages.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 12 Google Merchant Conformiteit -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">12. Conformity with Google Merchant guidelines<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          To comply with Google Merchant Center guidelines for the Dutch and Belgian markets, EU Containers ensures in particular that:\n        <\/p>\n        <ul class=\"payment-card__list\">\n          <li>the accepted payment methods (currently: bank transfer; no credit card) are clearly and transparently stated,<\/li>\n          <li>all price components, taxes and shipping costs are clearly visible before finalising the order,<\/li>\n          <li>the payment information matches the data in our product feeds, ads and other Google-related channels.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Should Google or a supervisory authority require adjustments, EU Containers will update this payment policy accordingly.\n        <\/p>\n      <\/article>\n\n      <!-- 13 Consumentenrechten -->\n      <article class=\"payment-card\">\n        <h3 class=\"payment-card__title\">13. Consumer rights and mandatory law<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"payment-card__text\">\n          Nothing in this payment policy may limit or exclude mandatory consumer rights under Dutch, Belgian or European law.
